What exactly is a Customs Declaration?

A Custom Declaration or C88 is a document where you specify the goods you want to import and export and give information about it.
Among other things, you would need to know the dimensions, quantity, price, and commodity codes of the goods you want to clear.

What's a commodity code?

Commodity codes are an important part of your customs declaration. They clarify the type of goods you are moving. Each item in your packing list has a unique code for customs entries purposes. You can check the one that best fits your goods on the link below:

What's an EORI number and how can I get one?

An Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI number) is an ID code that identifies you or your company as the unique economic operator for any import and export involving the UK and a third country. You can apply for one using the link below:
